LONG ISLAND HOSPITAL

Cast Poured Floors was hired by Turner Construction Company to install 10,000 s.f. of Cast Comfort Floor for this newly-constructed hospital located in Bay Shore, NY.

CPF was recommended for the project by the manufacturer of the flooring, based on its experience in cast poured flooring as well as its reliability and ability to solve problems in a complex and fast-paced setting.

The floor was specifically chosen for the hospital’s new MRI wing based its aesthetic appeal and long lifespan, as well as its hygienic and impact-absorbing qualities. CPF was selected by the general contractor for this high-spec project because of its ability to work as a team player in a demanding, time-sensitive environment, made especially challenging because the project was in its close-out stage after the hospital equipment had already been installed.

The company came through, finding creative solutions to every problem that arose, and working out of hours on evenings and weekends.

MANHATTAN APARTMENT BUILDING

Cast Poured Floors provided and installed Cast Comfort flooring for this high-end 183-rental apartment building located in Manhattan.

First approached by the Bjarke Ingels Group, the New York-based architecture, design + build giant, CPF was awarded the job by ZDG Construction Management based on the complete package it offered, which included supplying and installing the floor in every room of each apartment.

The successful completion of this 90,000 s.f. flooring project is testament to both the material’s high-performance value and appropriateness for a project of this scope as well as the ability of CPF to provide seamless installation both on time and within budget.

The all-white cast poured flooring proved to be a superb choice based on its durability, longevity and above all its sophisticated aesthetic.
